In order to download and read an EBSCO eBook offline on a desktop, you will need an EBSCO account (free to sign up or use your ACU Sign In at top right), an Adobe Digital ID (also free to sign up and usually your e-mail address). Also, Adobe® Digital Editions 1.7.1 or higher is required for viewing, which can be downloaded from the Adobe Digital Editions web site. Downloaded eBooks cannot be viewed or opened using PDF software.

In order to download an ebook offline from EBSCO on an iPad or Android tablet, you will need an EBSCO account (free to sign up), an Adobe Digital ID (also free to sign up and usually your e-mail address), and you will need to download the free Bluefire Reader app available from the Apple app store (iTunes) or the Android app store (Google Play).
